Labeled on FarOut as La Casa Melipona. This is a sustainable livestock farm, with a small meliponary. (A meliponary is a place where stingless bees, also known as meliponine bees, are raised and cared for.) The property is scenic and has good views. They offer a bee tour and honey tasting $10 dollars.
There are two types of accommodation:
- Cabin: $60 per person includes dinner and breakfast
- Camping: $12 (bring your own tent)

Helga is a wonderful host who is passionate about Costa Rican agriculture. We enjoyed the tour of the farm, and the stingless bees. The food and conversation was wonderful! The cabin had everything we needed and great privacy! 5 stars!
