Submit a trail report
One of the best features of the FarOut app is the ability to leave and read comments on waypoints. Waypoint comments can help other hikers by alerting them to a potential issue.
To leave a comment, select the waypoint and then scroll to the bottom and then tap “Leave a public comment.” That’s it! It is now posted.
How to find trail comments
There are two methods for finding trail comments. The first, will alert you to all trail comments. To do this, click the wrench and hammer icon in the FarOut app. Once the menu screen opens up, then tap View Recent Comments. This will show you all comments on all waypoints. The second method is to first navigate to the waypoint and to open it. Once open, you scroll towards the bottom to view any comments.
