Domo Akari Lodge

Lodge Domo Akari is a family run dome style lodge offering a safe, comfortable, and distinctive stay for Camino de Costa Rica hikers. Designed to blend rustic character with modern comfort, the lodge provides a peaceful place to rest and recharge, surrounded by mountain views.

The property accommodates up to 8 guests indoors and also offers covered space for additional camping. Guests have access to two full bathrooms with hot water, a fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry facilities, a spacious indoor living area, and a large terrace with a lookout over the surrounding mountains, including views toward the Cerros de Escazú and Volcán Irazú.

A self service breakfast featuring local products is included. The lodge also offers WiFi, cable TV, parking, a fire pit, filtered drinking water, towels, books in Spanish and English, and board games.

Located approximately 400 meters from the main Camino de Costa Rica route on Stage 12, Domo Akari is not just a place to sleep, but an experience focused on comfort, warmth, and connection with the landscape.
