About Green Gold Eco-Lodge
Green Gold Eco-Lodge can accommodate up to 24 people. There is no wifi or cell phone service here. There is power that kicks on via generator that’s run during the day. 6AM dock departure is standard for Camino hikers so you can get a jump on your second day.
Meals: Dinner and breakfast are included in the rate.
Next morning boat price: Please bring cash to pay the driver directly for the boat ride from Green Gold to Muelle Goshen the following morning. This cost varies based on how many guests are staying at Green Gold, so it is no longer included in the package in order to ensure you receive the best possible rate. The minimum cost is $40 per person. The maximum cost, which applies if you are the only passenger, is $120 per person. Please note that this maximum rate is discounted for Camino hikers and is normally higher.
Day one logistics: Reaching the Caribbean coast is the most complex part of the trip. Most hikers take a bus from San Jose to Siquirres, then a second bus from Siquirres to Caño Blanco. From Caño Blanco, a short water taxi takes you to Parismina. The hike begins there, with a walk from Parismina to Green Gold Lodge.
Link to a Google Map showing the Caño Blanco pick up location, Parismina town drop off, hike to the lodge and then day two drop off location.

A peaceful, welcoming beachfront lodge with thoughtful hosts and comfortable rooms — the perfect place to start the Camino journey.
I only stayed one night at Green Gold Lodge in Parismina, but it left a lasting impression. The beachfront location is stunning, the room was clean, comfortable, and felt like a quiet sanctuary.
The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything about the place felt thoughtful and complimentary. It was the perfect spot to begin my Camino journey. I’d absolutely return.
Perfect place to start your Camino
A lovely lodge right on the beach where you can relax in a hammock or scout for sloths and monkeys in the trees. A very peaceful place.
