Nine ziplines and a Tarzan Swing along the Pacuare River. This zipline course is at Rio Vista Lodge which is located 1.5 KM downstream of the Pacuare River crossing. Due to it’s location, the lodge and zipline course require you to be picked up in a raft, float through the rapids downstream and arrive at the location. The logistics sound complicated but it’s fairly straight forward, especially because they will put everything together for you. It would look something like the following:
- Arrive at the Pacuare River crossing, after hiking through the indigenous section.
- Raft guides will be waiting for you, and will rig your bags into the raft, will give you a PFD, paddle and helmet and you’ll load into the raft.
- You’ll paddle the short 1.5KM through the rapids and pools of the Pacuare and arrive at Rio Vista Lodge. Spend the night.
- Next morning you will complete the zipline course and Tarzan Swing and then you can either hike out from there, or spend another night and raft out through the Pacuare Gorge.
- If you raft out, you’ll get to raft one of the best rivers in the world due to its scenery and rapids. At the take out, the guides will then drive you to Tres Equis or Silencio, catching you back up on the trail.
