Camino Kickstart — the easiest way to DIY your Camino
You don’t need a guide to hike the Camino de Costa Rica — but having one for the first few stages makes all the difference. The beginning of the trail is the toughest, both logistically and physically. With the Camino Kickstart, you’ll hike Stages 1–5 alongside an experienced local guide who handles the tricky parts: transport, routes, accommodations, and local coordination. After Stage 5, you’ll have your footing — ready to handle the rest of the Camino independently.
Description
The most daunting part of the Camino isn’t necessarily the hike itself, but the logistics at the beginning of trip. There’s getting to the boat dock, sorting out the boat rides, the indigenous section, tricky routes and more. With the Camino Kickstart you’ll have a guide and reservations through Stage 5 and from there, you’ll be on your way on your own.
